The format for the play-off will be decided by the committee on the day.
PAR THREE TROPHY
A running record of Member’s average net scores over all par 3 holes played throughout the Season will be kept, and the member with the lowest average recorded at the end of the Tour will win the trophy. Members will have to play in at least 3 rounds to be included.

Sections : Prior to the commencement of play at each monthly round, the numbers playing will be split into two sections based on their handicaps.
The top half (lower handicaps) will compete in Section 1 and the rest will compete in Section 2
If there is an odd number of players, Section 1 will have the extra player.
(This means that there is a small group of members who may move sections round on round depending on the attendance at each outing.)
6 PLAY :
The order of play will be determined via a draw at the venue prior to play.
7 PINS :
Prior to the commencement of each round, members (not guests) will be required to pay £5 each to be included in the nearest the pin competitions. Regardless of the number of players on the day, there will be 4 prizes of £15 awarded for :
Nearest the pin - Section 1, Section 2
Nearest the pin in two shots - Section 1, Section 2
The committee will decide which holes will be used for each prize prior to each round.
To win any of the above, the ball must finish on the green (putting surface), so any prize money NOT won will be retained and used to assist with future Tour travel expenses etc.
8 SCORECARDS :
Scorecards will be prepared prior to each round and passed to the lowest handicap player in each playing group for distribution. Cards will be pre-completed with Name, Handicap and Section, with the nearest the pin holes also clearly marked.
On completion of the round, it will be the responsibility of the lowest handicap player in each group to collect the completed cards and pass them to Shug, Dean or Ozz for checking.
For consistency, any players who are not confident of correctly allocating stableford points when marking scorecards, should please only note the GROSS SCORE for each hole and leave the stableford points BLANK. These cards should be passed to Shug, Dean or Ozz who will be responsible for allocating the appropriate stableford points.
9 GUEST LIST :
There are a number of friends of the Tour, who will be invited to participate on an ad-hoc basis, (mainly on the two Saturdays).
Guests rules which will apply are :
1) Full green fees will be payable, plus any catering and their share of any travel costs.
2) They will NOT participate in the nearest the pin comps (unless there are sufficient numbers to warrant their own competition)
3) They will not be eligible to win a Gold Medal.
4) Their handicaps will be at the discretion of the Committee.
