Coronavirus Update - 26th March 2021
It seems that at last we can kick off our 2021 Tour at Murrayshall on Sunday 25th April. At this time, there are still restrictions in place on the course and general Govmt guidelines that must still be adhered too, but at least we can get back playing...
I intend to send a message via Whatsapp to Members to kick things off, and update this site as and when things are confirmrd.
Coronavirus Update - 27th May 2020
The Committee met on Sunday to discuss the effect that the above has had on the Tour so far and to make a decision re the remaining fixtures.
As the chance of us getting the opportunity to play an outing in the format we would ideally want is highly unlikely until late Aug or Sept (if at all) it has been decided that the 2020 Tour will be abandoned.
I will contact the Courses involved and hope to rearrange all fixtures to the equivalent dates in 2021. Deposits to all (except The Inch) have been paid and we are confident that they will be honoured. I will contact all Members to confirm dates etc in due course.
Presuming we have the same membership next year, all moneys already paid will carry over, but if any member would prefer a refund, please contact me separately and I will arrange it.
If/when the gvmt rules are relaxed, we may be able to organise an outing later in the year as a one-off get together.
It has been a difficult and disappointing decision to make but we feel its the correct one considering the unusual times we find ourselves in.
